Privacy
1. What this covers
This policy covers the Hypsurf browser extension. It does not cover the websites you visit while using Hypsurf — each of those has its own privacy policy.
2. What we don't do
- No accounts. Hypsurf has no login and no account system.
- No tracking. No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising scripts, no cookies.
- No collection. We don't collect, sell, or share your personal information.
- Local-first. Your sessions, history, drafts, and settings are stored on your device, inside the extension.
3. How the agent works
Hypsurf is an agent that runs inside your browser. When you ask it to read a page, extract data, compare tabs, or take an action, it sends the relevant page content and your request to AI models so it can reason and respond. Page content is processed only to handle your request and is not used to build a profile of you.
4. Service providers
To process your requests, page content and prompts are passed to our AI service providers (such as model providers). These providers process data on our behalf to return responses, under their own agreements and policies. Don't ask Hypsurf to handle sensitive information you wouldn't want processed by a third party.
5. What stays local
Everything that isn't needed to answer your request stays on your device — including your conversation history, saved outputs, drafts, and extension settings. You can clear this data at any time from the extension.
6. What you control
- You can clear stored data from the extension at any time.
- You can stop using Hypsurf and uninstall it at any time.
7. Children
Hypsurf isn't intended for anyone under 13.
8. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect information handled by our service providers, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as Hypsurf develops. We'll update the date above when we do.
